I really love dabbling with these gorgeous vibrant purples and greens

Art Journalling "The Little Things "

I thought I might try my hand at Art Journalling. This is my first attempt. I will never call myself an artistbut I really am just enjoying playing with colours and shapes. I understand now why people like to be creating. It's more of a personal satisfaction for me.

Yellow Butterfly ATC'S

I was very keen to try this swap the theme being Yellow Butterflies. This swap was organized by a lady in remembrance of her Grandmother who had recently passed  and a story of a Yellow Butterfly that followed her as she left her Grandmother's home. This particular butterfly that followed her was not actually seen in this particular time of the year.  I  am honored to be a part of a lovely remembrance.

Steampunk ATC'S

This is my 2nd ATC collection of Steampunk cards. I'm finding this quite challenging compared to making greeting cards as with cards you add layers and sometimes chunky embellishments  which is not permitted when making Artist Trading Cards as they need to fit into a plastic pocket which will eventually turn up in a collectors album. I can't wait to see what turns up for me.

Fab Scraps Birthday Card

Fab Scraps bring out some beautiful papers. I couldn't wait to play with this one. This is the first time I have used these lovely pip stems around the oval frame. I love them as the stem is wire so you can twist them anyway you like.

Tattered Lace Peacock Card

Hello there, I am so very happy with how this 21st birthday peacock die card came together.  I love using Dylusions spray inks. I love watching the inks blend and react to each other after I have sprayed the water colour paper. Once the ink sprays have dried I again sprayed the card with Tattered Angels Pearl Spray to give a gorgeous shimmer. I have also used Distress ink and a dry blending block in the pale background behind the peacock. I'm so happy with the outcome.

Graphic 45 Artist Trading Cards

After reading an article in a card magazine, I stumbled upon Artist Trading Cards -ATC's and thought this could be a really cool hobby. This is my first edition to a Graphic 45 card swap. I love Graphic 45 papers and I the Bird Song papers are so beautiful.  I hope the recipients love them too!
